Product Details

Ferrosilicon, an alloy of iron and silicon, is made from the coke, scrap steel and silica. It is bright grey, with a small density. Ferrosilicon is widely used for steelmaking as a deoxidizing material and alloying constituent. It contains a high proportion of iron silicides.
