Business Introduction

The Universal Metal Coating Company Ltd - UNICOIL was established in 1995 as a Joint Venture between Zamil Group Holding and Rashed Al Rashed Group to produce PrePainted coils. The Zamil and Rashed groups are two of the leading industrial groups in Saudi Arabia
Unicoil was the first and largest company in the MENA region to produce PrePainted coils. Since 1995 the company has grown as major producer of GI and Prepainted in MENA region; its growth progress is as below, Unicoil is now the largest Galvanized and Pre Painting manufacturing facility in MENA region.

On November 11, 2003 Universal Metal Coating Company (UNICOIL) signed with DANIELI of ITALY to build the first private sector facility for the production of galvanized coils. The Cold Rolling Mill and Continuous Galvanizing complex started commercial production in January 2007 and can produce 250,000 tonnes of galvanized coated coils.

Today UNICOIL with its rich experience of producing million tonnes of ISO 9000-2008 quality standard PrePainted products is renowned leader in this field. Unicoil pro-active management team is always looking for opportunities for future growth and has ambitious expansion plans for the company in the time to come and continues to maintain its leadership position in the industry.
