Business Introduction

The Company operates with two separate divisions:
1.COLD ROLLED PROFILES
Sika is specialized in the production of special cold rolled profiles according to the customers’ drawing. Accuracy, strict tolerances and high quality standards are the leading features of all our products.
The existing production lines are designed to manufacture cold rolled sections in an extremely wide
range of complex shapes. The raw material used consists of strips with different characteristics:
- thickness from 0.5 to 3 mm
- strip width up to 600 mm
- galvanized steel, prepainted steel, stainless steel, black steel, copper alloys, aluminium
The closed sections can be either seamed, clinched, or welded with high frequency induction system:
all systems reaching an optimum degree of closing in their respective category.
The profiles can be cut to different sizes with the required precision using either cutting dies or sheardiscs.
Punching of holes and slots whenever required are made with automatic on-line process. Holes and slots can be punched either on the flat strip prior to the forming or on the section after forming
with a fully automatic process through electronic check-system.
2. ROLL FORMING MACHINES AND COMPLETE PLANTS
The Company has developed a wide range of roll-forming machines and
complete lines including: unwinder, straightener, pre-heater, roll-forming machine ( either with direct
gear or cardan shaft, either with mechanical control of upper shaft or with hydraulic control, 12-16-24-
36 or 39 stations) flying shearing/punching unit and
measuring/discharge unit.
The lines may be supplied complete with automatic
pre-punching system, rollers and dies.
An unlimited number of different sections can be
manufactured with the cold roll forming process.
