3.2 Carbon equivalent (CEq)
Carbon equivalent shall be not more than 0.42 for plates of P275NL1.
Carbon equivalent shall be calculated as follows:
CEq=C+Mn/6+(Cr+Mo+V)/5+(Ni+Cu)/15 (%)
3.3 Mechanical properties
The mechanical properties of P275NL1 shall meet the requirement as table 2.

3.4 Surface quality
The surface quality of plates shall be accordance with EN10163-2.
3.5 Ultrasonic inspection
Plates shall be ultrasonic inspected per EN10160-1999 S2E2.
3.6 Direction of Thickness
Through thickness tension testing shall be done according to EN10164 (%Re ≥ 25)
3.7 Test method and inspection rules
Test items, sampling quantity, sampling method and test method shall conform to table 4.
