N06600 seamless steel tube, Inconel 600 seamless steel tube, Alloy 600 seamless steel tube.
UNS N06600 is an austenitic nickel-chromium-iron alloy steel. This material grade owns the following characteristic:
● Excellent oxidation corrosion-resistance at high temperature
● Good resistance to carburization and nitrogen absorption
● High structural stability at high temperature
● Very good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking
● Good resistance to organic acid
N06600 has good resistance to chlorine and hydrogen chloride at high temperature, so it could be used in the production of chlorinated hydrocarbon, e.g. in the oxychlorination reactor and the cracking furnace in vinylchloride plant.
This material also could be applied in wet corrosive condition, where austenitic TP304 steel would be susceptible to stress corrosion cracking.
