The Material Works is the developer and supplier of Eco Pickled Surface (EPS) technology - an environmentally friendly alternative to acid pickling of carbon, alloy and stainless steels. EPS systems remove mill scale from the surface of strip steel, leaving a clean, very uniform surface that is naturally resistant to rusting without the need for a protective coating of oil.
