UNS N04400 is a nickel-copper alloy steel grade with some iron component. This material owns the following characteristic:

● Excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking
● Particularly resistant to hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acid
● Good resistance to neutral and alkaline salt
● Very good mechanical property
● Good weldability

N04400 is a solid-solution alloy which can be hardened only by cold working. It has the high strength and excellent corrosion resistance to sea water and steam at the high temperature as well as to salt and caustic solution.
