Technical conditions for plates of D36-Z35

1. Scope
The technical conditions apply to plates of D36-Z35 with thickness not less than 150mm. (150mm-300mm)
2. Dimension, Shape, Weight and Permissible Deviation
The dimension, shape, weight and permissible deviation shall meet the requirements of GB712-2000.
The flatness of plates shall be =< 5mm/1m and =<8mm/2m.
3. Technical conditions
3.1 Chemical composition (Ladle analysis)
The chemical composition of plates shall be accordance
with the following table 1.

3.2 Carbon equivalent (CEq)
Carbon equivalent shall be not more than 0.43 for plates of D36-Z35.
Carbon equivalent shall be calculated as follows:
CE=C+Mn/6+(Cr+Mo+V)/5+(Ni+Cu)/15 (%)

3.3 Tensile properties
The tensile properties of D36 shall meet the requirement as table 2.

3.4 Impact properties
Impact test in the longitudinal and transverse for plates of D36 shall meet the requirements per table 3.

3.5 Grain size
